Since I was born in 1980, I've got a whole lot to choose from.

Lately, I've been digging Foghorn Leghorn.

Born in 1958. Droopy, Screwy Squirrel, the Tex Avery wolf, and that bear family in the Looney Toons with the real big and stupid baby bear.

In no particular order

Bugs Bunny and the rest. Except Speedy Gonzalez, I never liked him.

Tom & Jerry - The older ones, not the ones where they're friends. Or the ones that were very weirdly animated, remember those?

Charlie Brown - More of a comic strip than animation, but the Christmas special did come before I was born.

Woody Woodpecker

I'm sure there's more I can't think of right now.

And not the watered down Chuck Jones angry schlub version of Daffy Duck, but the Bob Clampet crazy, insane Daffy Duck.

I believe that those were from the 60's. I like the earlier ones the best.

I wouldn't be surprised if the weirdly animated ones he's referring to are from Gene Deitch. They didn't just have weird animation and storylines, but weird sound fx as well!

I perfer the earlier versions too.

All the obilgatory Looney Tunes characters, Jetsons, Flintstones, Beany & Cecil, Pink Panther, Ant & the Aardvark, Jonny Quest, Tom & Jerry, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Space Ghost...

Spider-man (1967) - debuted 6 months before I was born.
