Great review of the Karloff set and couldn't agree more particularly about "Thriller". You probably meant "The Thing from Another World" when you referred to Karloff in "Tower of London". I always thought he reminded me of someone else (I saw "Thing" a long time before "Tower") from another film and now I know...

That's exactly what I meant, Wayne -- thanks for the clarification. It's weird, isn't it? I've seen the film several times before, and I could never pin down who Karloff reminded me of. Then, big Jim Arness came to mind.
