No "Best of Futurama" list is worth anything without "Roswell That Ends Well".

Did you construct those lists from memory? If so, I'm mildly impressed. I recognize about half of them, but I doubt I could recall now that I've scrolled down to the reply portion of the page.

Oh, and no love for the WB animated series? For shame.

Any King of the Hill list should include "Bobby Goes Nuts". The scene where Bill says, "I wish I had a son to kick me in the nuts," and Dale obliges is funny as hell.

Any list of The Simpsons should include Marge vs. the Monorail.

Agreed. Without "Jurassic Bark", this list loses all credibility.

Nice list.

Though I'd rank Futurama's 'The Probelm with Popplers' as one of its WORST episodes. It's right up there with 'The Honking.' Terrible, just terrible.

Anyone who has love for Foster's is alright by me. Though you have Sweet Stench listed twice, maybe replace one with Bus The Two of Us.

No When You Wish Upon a Weinstein? Please. Any episode that reveals Optimus Prime's religion is an instant classic.

This should have been 7 different threads! Had you titled them separately with the names of each show, fans of that show would go into the thread. For instance I've never heard of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends or Invader Zim. But I would more readily click on a "My Favorite Futurama" episodes.

Guess you just decided to shoot your whole wad.

For some odd reason, "Where No Fan Has Gone Before" is high on my Futurama list.

The Problem with Popplers is one of my favorite episodes as well, too many great lines (the entire Tasticles bit and the line "These are like sex! But I'm having it!" is, imo, one of the most memorable from the series. And I'll admit, I'm entertained seeing aliens getting high off hippie.)

You're absolutely right about The Honking though, up there with that Beck episode as one of the worst Futurama eps.

I can't always remember titles, but here's a few thoughts:

Family Guy
To Live and Die in Dixie
The Road to Rhode Island

Dexter's Laboratory
Omelette du Fromage (That's all you can say!)

Powerpuff Girls
The Rowdyruff Boys

Aqua Teen Hunger Force
Rabbot
Mayhem of the Mooninites
Balloonenstein
Ol' Drippy
Love Mummy

Sealab
The episode that basically consists of various characters saying "uh-oh!"
Too many others to name, anything with Hesh is a plus.

Futurama
Jurasic Bark (though it's hard to watch)
The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings

I have a tough time picking from the long list of Tex Avery/Bob Clampett/Friz Freleng/Robert McKimson Looney Toons.

[nitpick]You realize a lot of those old animated shorts were theatrical in origin right? [/nitpick]

Wow, I'm happy for the feedback, the lists actually took me alot of time, I don't like "Bobby Goes Nuts" all that much, nor "Bus the Two of Us", I need to fix "The Sweet Stench of Success", "The Problem With Popplers" is one of my definate faves, and as for shows like Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Labaratory, I didn't like enough episodes of those shows to make a list, although "The Rowdyruff Boys" episode is a classic, I don't like Aqua Teen or Sealab so I didn't make a list for them, and I don't watch WB cartoons, the most saddening thing on that list is no more Invader Zim, that show was amazing, and it just sucks that it had to end so soon. The more time I get, the more shows I'll make a list for, I still have shows like Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Doug, Recess, so ya I got more lists to do. Thanks for the feedback and would love some more.

And most of them I caught on tv early mornings or after school in the early 70's. Granted, yes, they aren't considered a cartoon series.

I guess if I were to pick episodes from a :30 series, I'd pick:

"Bobby Goes Nuts" - King of the Hill
"Plastic White Female" - King of the Hill
"Traction" - The Batman
"Robin's Reckoning 1&2" - BtAS
"The Robot Spy" - Jonny Quest
"Lisa's Sax" - The Simpsons
"Maximum Homerdrive" - Simpsons

And just a bit of bias because I was animated into the episode:
"Monkey-A-Go-Go" - Jackie Chan Adventures

I just caught the last half of Futurama's "300 Big Ones", where Fry drinks 100 cups of coffee. I just have to say the rescue scene is one of my favorite bits of "scifi" ever written.
