Why Does Warner Brothers Canada Suck So Bad?

For catalogue titles, they've missed more street dates than they've made in the past year or so. There's got to be some correlation between this and the fact they've gone over to the dark side in making bilingual DVD covers. Maybe they miss dates because it takes more time to ugly up the covers this way? Regardless, they were once my favourite purveyors of quality DVDs but my opinion of their Canadian branch has gone completely into the toilet for a while now. Thoughts? Boos? Hisses?

I don't really think is a big deal about bilingual covers since other studios are doing it too here in Canada.
However, what I have noticed and find irritating is having the release dates for catalogue items much later than the US. Things such as the John Ford/John Wayne boxset and Animaniacs Vol 1 sets were released at a much later date here in Canada.

I would love to know what the deal is and if somebody can shed some light as to the why, it would be appreciated.

In regards to the DVD content, I have no issues.
