DFW Fry's: Seven Samurai $30, Brazil 1-disc $19, LOTR LE $16

Prices good 09/08-09/12 :

Seven Samurai Criterion 3 DVD $29.99
Brazil 1-disc Criterion $18.99
Lord of the Rings recently released Limited Edition sets $15.99

With tax, these will still be close to the lowest prices currently shown at dvdpricesearch

Thanks, im gonna go return my copy I bought from Frys for 44.99 on tuesday and phurchase it for 29.99.

2 Questions:

1. Do I have to return and buy or can I just tell them and have them give me the difference?

2. Also, This isn't another bullshit (SJ only) deal is it?

Ask them for a price adjustment - no need to return product. Hopefully it's the same price at your location.

- You just need to take in your receipt for a price adjustment
- This was listed in the Dallas Morning News today

I picked up the last copy of Seven Samurai at the Renton, WA store. I wasn't planning to get this until later in the year but that price was too good to pass up. I sold my previous Criterion edition two weeks ago for $19 so the upgrade only cost me ten.

Does anybody know if this price is good in So Cal and does Best Buy price match Fry's? I have a $10 off rewards zone coupon to there. I figure with that and selling off my old copy, I can get out the door pretty cheap on this.

Thanks

They should price match since they are a competitor. If one turns you down, you can always try another (if you have multiple close together).

These prices are shown in the San Diego Tribune Fry's ad today. I'm going to have to bite on Seven Samurai. I've spent to much this month already but that's too good a deal to pass up.

Yeah, I just picked up a copy of the OC Register for the Fry's ad. It's clearly listed in there for $29.99. You shouldn't run into any problems doing a PM.

Is anyone else considering trying to price match the Brazil price at another store, but getting the 3-disc?

I went today and they did a price adjustment for me here in Southern California.

P.S. Good luck price matching with best buy, its like pulling teeth with those mentally defective employees of theirs

Hahah. I feel the same way! My girlfriend is living in Austin, TX right now and visiting the Fry's is one of my rituals anytime I visit. Great store.

Hopefully sometime they'll expand down here (I'd assume Orlando would be their first target )

However if Best Buy will price match at least we won't miss out. I'll have to stop at the Altamonte Springs Best Buy and find out. Thanks n.phelge!
