The Official "Same DVD, Different Cover" List

The hitch to this list is that the DVDs have to be the same. Double dipping does not count. The only thing different is the cover. Same specs.

Yeah, I was thinking Finding Forrester was probably the same. I finally picked it up today from the walmart $5.50. It has the new cover.

Mostly all of the Columbia/Tri-Star re-releases are in full screen only

Thought I'd mentioned this before, but "The Great Outdoors" has fallen victim to this, as has "Hudson Hawk", if I recall correctly. Oh, and "Necessary Roughness", although I haven't actually seen the new cover at retail anywhere yet.

I know Red Dawn has changed. I have the original cover and I know the ones out now have a different one.

A couple more for you... don't know the studios, but I.Q. and When A Man Loves A Woman now have different covers.

Wings of Desire has a nice new cover (though I liked the previous one also). Can't find it shown online though.

A Fistfull of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, and Hang 'em High have changed their covers since these MGM DVDS are being released by 20th Century Fox

The Odd Couple has a new cover as well. It's still the orginial release's cover but blown up to show more of their faces.

Hudson Hawk has seen 3 cover changes. One of them might be a SE though. One day I saw all three used for the same price of $4.99.



I saw a new cover but same disc on Dances with Wolves FS edition.

I've been seeing Fantastic Four with all four standing side by side in a row in a light blue/white background.
