Occasionally decent discounts too --often the 39.99 titles are 28.99, which isn't bad for an impatient purchase of 'em.

From a quick perusal, these are the best deals I can find:
The 400 Blows - $17.59
The Bad Sleep Well - $17.59
Heaven Can Wiat - $17.59
That Obscure Object of Desire - $18.39
They're all +/- a few cents of what you'd pay during DDD's 20% off sale. They're a bunch of others that are $19.99 which is still a good price but not spectacular.

So far DVD Planet has been cheaper on a few checks I made, if you factor in tax at a BB and no tax at DVD Planet if you don't live in IL.

Ok, I ended up with an OK deal. I still had a 10% off online order coupon in an e-mail I hadn't used yet so I ended up with:
Divorce Italian Style - $23.19
Harlan County USA - $23.19
Late Spring - $23.19
Mr. Arkadin - $28.79
Plus Tax & Shipping
Grand Total = $101.90

Not sure what the deal is. I've seen a bunch of these Criterions at local Best Buys in the last week or so, and when I click for "in store pickup" it shows "unavailable" at all stores. Really wanna pick up Late Spring 2DVD for $23.19 - wihch I'm almost positive my Best Buy has.
Anyone have any luck with store pickup? I know it's listed as an "online only" deal, but I've done plenty of those for instore pickup.

Store pickup only shows stock available when there are more than 2-3 in stock. Their rationale is that they might sell a copy or two before the staff is able to pull them off the shelf, so this gives them some wiggle room. But it sucks for things where they never keep more than a couple on hand anyway.

I wonder how feasible it is to get them to match their website price on an item? Sometimes it comes up that way automatically at the store anyways. I'll hafta give it a shot. Yeah, there's no way they had more than 1 or 2 of Late Spring. Thanks for the info though. It at least explains why they weren't showing up.
