Anamorphic Special Editions or non-anamorphic Original Versions or anamorphic Original Versions?

I am not buying these new "old" versions because they are not anamorphic. It is a complete waste of money. If they were anamorphic then I would say $14.99 a piece would be fair.

LOL!

I think I should be able to get them free since I already bought the special edition dvd set the first time, but I'll probably end up getting these anyhow.

He's not forcing you to buy them. You only have yourself to blame.

No, it never ends with that money-grabbing bastard.

I'm sure these non-anamorphic DVD's coming out this month has EVERYTHING to do with the 30th anniversary rolling around next year and a reason for him to be "generous" and give the fans an anamorphic cut of the originals in some box set with some cheesy plastic figure of his fat-ass in some Slave Leia costume...

To condense a 65 page thread, the "special edition" is anamorphic, while the original versions are not.

$33.50 from DDD 20% off sale back in Nov. 2004. Never saw the price go back down to this level, currently $48.28 at DDD.

WHATEVER!!!

He is using jedi mind tricks on me. Yeah, thats it...

*jiggles neck while waving hand jedi style* "these are the dvds you have been waiting for. You are not even that pissed that they are non-animorphic and will look barely better than the bootlegs you've bought from ebay and the multiple fan rips you downloaded online."
