Every get so attached to some shows that you feel a loss when it comes to an end? Total geekdom I know but its been on my mind lately. Be it Mulder and Scully and how they are doing on the run, or the Queer As Folk gang, Oz, Farscape, etc. Kinda feels like a loss of a friend when they do character development right, anyone else?

Thanks to the wonderful world of fan fiction, you can now discover what your favorite characters are up to after the series was cancelled:

As season 4 progressed, I thought I would miss Enterprise, but the final episode cured me of any longing for any star trek product produced by Berman & Braga.

Not so much at a series end, but more along the lines of a character's death (that had nothing to do with the real actor's passing ie. Phil Hartman, Nicholas Colosanto, Selma Diamond, Florence Halop).

Yes...Six Feet Under brought me to tears many times over the course of it's run. The finale was simply too much.

I miss a lot of shows and a lot of characters, but I think the ones that have hurt the most and still linger with me are "Sleeping in Light" and "Everyone's Waiting".

To this day, I haven't watched the last episode of DEEP SPACE NINE; honest to God, I just can't wrap my mind around it being over and, somehow, some way, if I don't watch the series finale, it isn't over...not really...
I know...cuckoo...

I really shed a tear when NYPD Blue went off the air. I saw every single episode since the premiere, and felt like they were family.

I'll definitely second that.

There are two other specific characters that come to mind as well. The First beging Cordelia Chase from ANGEL, When she returned for the 100th episode, it was amazing - I remember watching that episode very vividly, and in the end when it hit me that she was dead I actually cried, and not small tears, but actually sobs. And Secondly, was Jen from DAWSON'S CREEK Her and Jack where always my favorite characters, and seeing her pass away so helpless in the series finale (especially after her video to her daughter) I couldn't believe that was happing to such a strong/emotional woman...

A lot of the reoccurring 24 cast that was killed off.

Yeah, Dr. Green's death on ER was tough. That was the end of the show for me.
Sifuentes' death on NYPD Blue was also very emotional.
B5's "Sleeping in Light" was one of many emotional moments in that show. It was tough watching that show end, although it was so well written and well planned that the end felt natural and not as abrupt as some other show's endings (like Angel).
