There is only one summer 2007 movie. That movie is Spidey 3. The rest are just trying to come in second.

Spidey 3 easily tops my list. Next Summer's titles look promising on paper. I wasn't too thrilled with this Summer's offerings.

I'm looking forward to Spider Man 3, Pirates and Harry Potter in that order.

BTW, I wasn't aware that they were making a sequel of the Bourne series and an Alien vs Predator one

It'll be interesting to see how Spidey and Capt. Jack do going toe to toe.

I had to IMDB Evan Almighty. looks like a sequel to Bruce Almighty

Think there are enough sequels and remakes on that list? Good Lord! No wonder I only saw 2 movies at the theater all summer(neither of which ended up being good I might add).

That being said, I'll more than likely see 5 movies off that list and all of them are sequels.

Same here. Only a few on the list that don't interest me in any way.

I'm surprised Fox is releasing Fantastic Four 2 and Die Hard 4 so close together.

I'm very interested in seeing who will win the Pirates vs. Shrek battle come next May. Shrek might finally have lost steam after all the disappointing video sales, so I'm wondering if Pirates will clobber it the second week out.

Then again, the "Pirates" craze could easily run out of steam too. Like "Back to the Future II" and "III" being released so close together (within the same year). I'm sure "Pirates 3" will make as much as the first film. But will and can it do what "Dead Man's Chest" did?

Also, I didn't realize "Shrek 2" did so bad on DVD. Is that true?

Oh, sorry. I looked through that list so fast, I thought "Happy Feet" was on there and what he/she was talking about. "Surf's Up", huh? Well, similar animated movies is nothing new. Just ask Dreamworks

Aside from Happy Feet, there was also Madagascar in which penguins were the only reason to watch the movie.

Spidey vs. Shrek vs. Pirates

Very tough to call, but I bet the Box Office ranking will be:

1. Shrek
2. Pirates
3. Spidedy

Other than Spidey, The Simpsons and Harry Potter (and possibly Die Hard, although I need to see some previews first), it's going to be a really long summer for me!
