How do you watch your 'Simpsons' boxes?

"Worst poll ever" is not an option.

I bought the first three seasons and I've watched maybe a total of 5 episodes. At one point I realized there was no point in me buying these sets and I just stopped buying them.

For now, all I've gotten around to is watching the episodes. Eventually, I hope to get around to the commentaries and other extras, but with such a backlog right now, I have enough problems just watching the main feature.

Here's what I do (it isn't a poll option):

I watch all the episodes with commentaries (and subtitles on) first. I've seen them so many times in syndication, I don't watch them without it, even the first time.

I just grab a random box and disc and watch. I'v only watched the commentary on Season 1 (first episode). Other times, I'd turn on the commentary but have to turn it off cause I want to watch the show.

This is what happened to me with Seinfeld, only it was just one season I bought of that. I think I was on Seinfeld burnout. Maybe I'll see if I'll be more interested in the future...

I watch all episodes on one disc, then go back and listen to the commentaries on the disc. I've stopped buying at Season 7, which is my favorite. It has:
Conclusion of "Who Shot Mr. Burns" (Twin Peaks parody)
And my all-time fave episode, "Lisa the Vegetarian."

I've only watched the episodes thus far, but I may listen to a few of the commentaries someday.

The Simpsons is on about 3 times a day in my area so buying the DVD's seems like a waste of money to me.

So you like to watch them edited with some of the best jokes taken out to make room for more commercials?

Anyways, since I've seen all the episdes umpteen times already, I hit the commentaries first.

I don't even have enough time to watch the episodes (last season watched: Season 2), so the commentaries will probably never be watched.

I only own my favorite season (which is season four) and I usually just watch it sit on my shelf and collect dust.

I watch all the episodes, then go back and sporadically watch the commentaries. It's kind of a crapshoot which ones I actually watch though. I think I've watched maybe half the commentaries from 1-7, but I couldn't tell you which ones I've seen and which I haven't.

I just glance at them on the shelf when I walk by. I don't really spend much time staring at them.

I've listened all of the commentaries on seasons 4-6, and watched about 60% of the episodes from those three years. Although I own the first six seasons, I haven't watched a single episode from the first 3. I'll probably get around to watching the commentaries for those episodes, but in no real rush. Haven't bought seasons seven or eight yet.

Only commentaries I've ever really watched are the nice and short ones for South Park. I'm sorry, I don't have loads of time to watch what I have on DVD let alone the commentaries afterwards. Besides, the long long ones bore me.

I watch all of the episodes when ever i feel like it, mainly because I don't watch the reruns that much anymore. Plus its nice to see them in their original form.

Well, I have to admit I own seven seasons and have only watched the first. I will watch them but I keep watching other shows instead. Lately, I've been working my way through Futurama and I should be done with those soon.

I'll probably just watch the episodes, maybe a commentary here or there but I don't think I'll have the time.
