if they things are supposed to be going OOP (and dropping in price as well) Best Buy sure doesnt know it. I went there the other day and saw a few UMD titles for $29.99 .... while others were in the $14.99 range

GameStop is running the same deal on SONY UMD's. I just got an e-mail this morning.

I have a problem with an add that reads "Buy one NEW PSP UMD get one free" and then when I get to the store they try to sell me one that has been opened, no longer shrinkwrapped and they claim it has never been used.
Is anyone else bothered by this?
To me, new means NEW, never opened, no fingerprints on it. How can they get away with this? I for one, walked out of the store not purchasing anything.

Yes, I too have had this happen. I don't like the practice either and always refuse to purchase the item.

I've caught attitude from them but anything out of the shrink should sell for the used price.
