Snakes on a Train (real movie)
Yep, this is from Asylum, the company that puts out knock offs of popular movies in order to make a little money off their popularity.
Hills Have Eyes = Hillside Cannibals
Exorcism of Emily Rose = Exorcism: The Possession of Gail Bowers
The Omen = 666:The Child
And now...
Snakes on a Train. But wait...there's a trailer!

Don't forget...
The Da Vinci Treasure
Pirates of Treasure Island
H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds
When a Killer Calls
King of the Lost World (King Kong ripoff starring... Bruce Boxleitner???)
How does Snakes on a Train work when you can always get off?

Their web site is full-on cheese. The plot synposis' are fun to read and stupid as fuck, their films are obviously all B-movie bad. So bad, they're in fact.........bad.
These guys are gonna to be a guilty pleasure for me. In fact i may just buy their entire catalouge out of spite...Hey Lance Henrikksen and Luke Perry are in some of these films.
I haven't had a chance to go through the entire list of bad titles and rip-offs yet.

C. Thomas Howell looks to be their poster boy.
How soon before they start ripping off TV shows?
Boston Lawyers, Prison Escape, Emergency Room, Space Battlestar: Destination Earth, Plastic/Surgeons, Cop Shield, Green's Anatomy, FDNY Rescue, The Orange County.

It looks like from their site that they actually sell a lot of these to the foreign market. A smart play since I'm sure a lot of secondary markets won't be getting some of these movies for a long time. Plus, what do foreigners know anyway.

Hollywood Video gets these movies in. Some of them have been decent, several of them have been terrible. I'll rent this, at some point, becuase I like to subject my girlfriend to shitty horror B-movies.

The Asylum used to be a distributor for some really kick-ass indie films. I saw some fantastic movies from them like Dill Scallion, Chicks Man, and Art House.
That being said... bring on Snakes on a Train.

Holy shit I thought this was a joke thread. I can't believe some of these knockoffs actually exist. I'm half tempted to buy a few just to laugh at how bad they are. The Da Vinvi Treasure? Give me a break!
