Absolutely. Also Mighty Mitor/Moby Dick, Shaz-zan, King Kong, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Frankenstein Jr. and The Impossibles were that year also I believe. Not sure about Milton the Monster. Answers to this will probably be dependent on the age of the poster(I was 9 in the fall of 1967). I remember that ABC would always air their saturday morning line-up on the friday morning after Thansgiving in those days.

No way. Cartoon Express in the 80s with Shirt Tales, Janna of the Jungle, Captain Caveman and the Munchichis was the best ever.

For me, it would be one of the seasons in the late 70s when you had Superfriends, Laff-a-Lympics, and the Bugs Bunny/Road Runner show.

I liked all the live-action stuff on CBS... Captain Marvel, Isis, Ark II. And does anyone remember "In the News"?

Cool McCool is coming. I remember "In the News" also. I also remember CBS would finish off the morning with a foreign kid's movie hosted by Kuukla, Fran and Ollie. I specically remember the one from Japan called Fatty and Skinny.

Early/mid 80s with Dungeons & Dragons, Spiderman and His Amazing Friends, and Thundarr the Barbarian.

LOL, me too. How about Captain Planet.

When was He-Man, Snorks, and Smurfs on? Those are some I remember, not sure if they were Saturday mornings though.

What I do remember for sure is watching TMNT and GI Joe at my babysitter every weekday morning in the late 80s.

...and now I'm starting to feel old...

You are so on the money.

Let's specify: CHALLENGE of the Superfriends (1978 or so) and let's add
a dash of Schoolhouse Rock, CBS In the News, and some Messy Marvin and Hubba Bubba commercials.

OH, and let's pour ourselves a big bowl of Waffle-o's and plop in front of the TV for a morning of paradise.

I have a feeling that everybodies answer will be when they were kids, not a threadcrap but just an observation that since i grew up started drinking and smoking some stuff i notice that i don't wake up too early (unless i'm staying up late, at which point i realize that saturday morning cartoons nowadays kinda stink)

I used to watch Freakazoid, The Tick and Earthworm Jim. Far better than the stuff I watched as a kid in the 80s.

I think we might see an obvious pattern if we gave the decade or time period when we were growing up and watching these shows. I also realize that for most of us, we still watch even through adulthood.

Agreed, although none of these were my favorites, this was the 'golden age' of saturday morning cartoons.

This would be it. The Superfriends vs. the Legion of Doom was just mega-cool. I also literally hung on seeing a new Dugeons & Dragons or Spider-man and His Amazing Friends!

Mega-lame: Garfield and Marmaduke Show and the Smurfs.

Whatever years started with a dose of SUPERFRIENDS, followed by the BUGS BUNNY/ROAD-RUNNER SHOW, and finished up with a good live-action Kroft show like LAND OF THE LOST.

Good times.
