Do you go back and search for old thread?
We just started watching the last season of The Amazing Race. We know nothing about the outcome of the race. After we watched the 2 hr premier last night, I searched for and found the 6 month old thread to read.
Does anyone else do this when watching older TV shows?

I'm currently reading older threads as I catch-up on Deadwood and Scrubs. Without knowing the title off-hand or the date, it's hard to find just the right one I'm looking for. Sometimes the last post comes after another episode has aired and that throws off the search order.
I'll muddle through.

I'm sure everyone does - just last weekend I ran through Entourage S1 & S2 for the first time and did an Entourage search by thread title and read each episode thread inbetween episodes. It made for a nice reading companion.
The only thing is I didn't want to be a tool and bump all these old threads all at once so I couldn't contribute my thoughts to any of them.

It was also interesting to see a show gain popularity as measured by their # of replies. Season One threads barely went into a second page and averaged 20 or so replies, but as Season Two gained steam it went up to the thirties and forties and now in S3 we're looking at 40 to 60 replies per episode.

I noticed a decline in # of posts or even threads for each episode when I was catching up on CSI. Not that the show is any less popular than in the beginning, but it seems that no one starts threads about it.
I am normally watching a week or two behind, so I don't start one then.

I worked very hard to birth this thread and equally hard to merge the copycat thread that was started with just the same thought you had!
