Costco: Airport Terminal Pack $12.99 plus movie ticket
I just saw this in Costco today. I don't know how long it's been there, but:
Airport Terminal Pack (Airport, Airport 1975, Airport '77, and The Concorde: Airport '79), plus a movie ticket to see You, Me and Dupree in the theater. All for $12.99.

Hmm, I might go for that. I have all four of those in my Netflix but for $13 and a free ticket, maybe it's worth it.

The Concorde: Airport '79 (the most hilarious of them all) was never released separately, at least in region 1. I don't think any of the others that were released separately had extras other than a trailer. I also don't think any of the original individual releases are available anymore.

Nice deal.
I caught Airport 77 on Universal HD a few weeks ago and it was surprisingly entertaining with a pretty solid cast (Jack Lemmon, Darren McGavin, Jimmy Stewart). I might have to pick up the set to see the rest although I've heard 79 is just horrid.

horrid can be quite good...
with these kind of movies i kinda like the later cheesier ones anyway.
so bad they're good.
hopefully this winds up in bjs or sam's too.

In other words, the driven force is looking for a free movie ticket for the movie you WANT to see in any dvd deals (the above link). As for me, i like to buy dvds for their bargain. So, if the dvds i want come with free ticket and i don't like the movie for the free ticket, i can give it to a friend. The converse is NOT the same

Just saw the first Airport movie at the MPAA Academy today on Wilshire in Beverly Hills. Jacqueline Bisset was there - wow, she's held up well for 60. Nice movie - even though dated, it's engaging and most of all decent. No curse words, profanities, vulgarities and unnecessary swagger and attitude thats a hallmark of current day actors.
