No, it only provides the 5 nominees for best picture, 5 best actor, 5 best actress, etc.
What I am looking for is the list of 300-400 movies that were eligible for consideration each year.

Here's a really good site that might be able to help you. It's been called earth's biggest movie database. Now go and do your own work.

IMDB does not have the lists I am looking for.
Maybe I should change my question to a list of DVD talk members who aren't jerks about it and actually read and understand a question before they reply with snarky comments.

Ahhh, that's not true. Only 250-400 movies each year are eligible. For instance, the link above lists 244 movies for 2000, whereas if I search in imdb for 2000, I get 24344. Not every movie released each year is eligible.
Yes, Palaver, that is exactly what I'm looking for. Unfortunately, that list only goes back to 2000. I've been able to find 1997-1999 in various other places.

Calm down. I'm not asking you to compile the list. I'm just asking if anyone has a list handy, like Palaver.
I've already done plenty of searching and have lists from 1997-2005. I was just asking if anyone else has any other lists.

Because you got all worked up over people telling you to do your own work...so I kind of thought "getting worked up" was the theme for this thread. Boy, do I feel awkward.
