TV Guide subscription bargains a thing of the past?

It's about time for me to renew TV Guide but I haven't seen any deals floating around since they changed to the new giant size. I checked eBay and it looks like the cheapest is $13.75 for 1 year. That's probably not a bad price but I paid $5 total for the last 2 years. I doubt I'll renew at that price, I usually don't even read the articles about shows I watch to avoid spoilers and I get my listings from TitanTV.

I think a lot of the magazine deals in general have either dried up or (as is more the case) gotten more expensive in the last few months on eBay.

I renewed my TVGuide at that $13 price just the other week. Yeah, it's not nearly as cheap as the 4 years I got 2+ years ago, but it's still about 1/3 the price at the TVGuide website.

TV Guide is more like People magazine than a guide. I use the one from the paper or the cable guide on tv.

Less actual listings, more money .... hmmm, why is not subscribing such an appealing idea!

When they changed the format I read that the deals would be gone.
