Name That Movie!

I have been trying to figure this out for a good couple of years on my own, but I recently gave up and have been asking around. Unfortunately nobody I've asked has a clue as to what I'm talking about, so here it goes.

Alls I can remember about the movie is that there are invading cats, all up in the cupboards and shit. They're attacking the residents and are just plain mean. I think the people just moved into the house too. Thanks dudes!

Sounds a little like Stephen King's Sleepwalkers.

Don't know if this is it but there is a horror movie from 1979 called The Uncanny which is an anthology of cat stories. Peter Cushing is telling someone the stories trying to convince them that cats are evil. He has a book he is holding that contains all his research and documentation. One of the stories involves a rich old woman with a zillion cats and her maid/nurse who wants her money. The maid offs the old lady and the cats chow down on the old lady's body. For a reason I can't remember the maid/nurse is trapped in the house with all the cats who end up ripping her to shreds and probably eating her too. There is an R2 dvd but haven't watched it in awhile and can't remember the other stories.

That's not the one I'm thinking of, this one involves a family I believe, but that one does sound rad. I'll have to check it out. Thanks.
