What did you think was the best DVD of June 2006?

Not only the best film released on DVD, but the best overall presentation... film, video, audio, extras, etc.

If I have missed your choice in the poll list, please post below.

This month was a tough call...lots of great movies/series but the extras on all of those discs were just alright...so it'd be a toss up between Hills, Entourage and Kiss Kiss. I picked Kiss Kiss Bang Bang just because overall, I've gotten the most out of that disc so far.

I chose the Hills Have Eyes Unrated. Very effective horror movie that got a great dvd transfer.

I'm voting for Dazed and Confused CC since it was the only DVD that I bought last month.

THE OMEN [1976]: Collector's Edition; as many old and new extra goodies as the BUTCH CASSIDY re-release, but also with a stunning upgrade in picture quality.

Don't know if it was the best, but this is the only thing I bought too.

My pick is the Equinox Criterion Collection release, but it's really a toss up between that one and the Dazed and Confused Criterion.

Underworld: Evolution for me. I really liked M&MS but the Unrated version didn't offer enough to warrant the double-dip. Not at the regular price.

Still waiting for my Dazed & Confused from DDD , though I'm sure it will be the best DVD of June anyway.

I voted for Beyond the Valley of the dolls b/c its has a great transfer/audio and a wealth of extras that are worth watching/listening too-its how a dvd release of a cult film should be presented. If that's true, then Equinox CC should be tied with BVD. Really tough callm here, this month. Even Omen has a great reissue, Hills Have Eyes has a great transfer/audio and a good 50 min feature of making of. Dazed and Confused looks like another great title and extras from CC, but I haven't made my way through it yet to fully decide.
