I hope he comes out ok. He's my favorite critic of all time and a Chicago treasure.

He's my favorite critic ever too. I'm sure he'll be ok.

He's sure had his share of medical problems, but fortunately for all us movie lovers, he's a resilient guy - let's hope for a full and speedy recover!

I'm not a religious man, but I am a Red Sox fan...so I'll re-direct my positive vibes away from Fenway Park for the time being, and focus them squarely on Mr. Ebert. Get well soon!

Damn, he really was upset by Superman Returns. Hope he is okay. I love his commentaries, books and his reviews are always interesting whether I agree or disagree.

Get well soon, Mr. Ebert.

Wait a minute, wasn't this the guy who hated Fight Club and Blue Velvet??

I hope you DIE Ebert!

No, seriously, I've always liked his writing, even when I disagreed with him.

If Ebert dies, that means Uwe Boll wins.

You don't have to be a religious person to have sympathetic, and caring emotions towards others. It's natural.

I hope he gets better and wasn't just hanging on until the special edition DVD of "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls" came out.

Who hopes he pulls through more than anyone? Richard Roeper.

That's character, not critic.

If he dies, his wake will be at 12:15, 2:30, 4:45, 7:00, and 9:45.

Yikes. The article says his family expects him to make a full recovery, so I hope all goes well.
