Can my player be made region free? (Philips Magnavox DVD420AT)
I've been looking online but really am not sure where to look. Some sites say that they just don't have any codes listed to make my player region free, but i'm assuming that doesn't mean that they don't exist.
My player is a Philips Magnavox DVD420AT model. If anyone can help out, i'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Philips are part of the DVD Mafia so you might not be able to make it multi-region or you may need a hardware mod like some of the older Sony, Toshiba and other members of the DVD Consortium DVD players. Wasn't it part of the agreement that legit companies were forced to sign that they couldn't make their DVD players multi-region originally? I could be completely wrong though!
