Black Adder: The Complete Collection

The R2 release looks much better than the R1. What with the limited edition box and all. What is the best price anyone has seen it for? CD Wow did have it for around $60 in the regular store but now they only have it in the infamous warehouse for $110.

use an amazon.com account and order from amazon.co.uk - they take off 17.5% (the VAT we pay for living in the UK) from the price and charge reasonable postage :

Actually, cdwow still has this title for $69. It just doesn't appear in the search.

You can save an extra $2 through the link in this forum.

That comparison does NOT include the newly released 6 disc R2 set talked about here.

How is it that it doesn't appear in the search? I know not everything appears when you simply attempt to browse the sections but I would think the search would show everything. How did you come across it?

Does anyone know of anything else that doesn't appear when you search for it but is readily available for sale?

I don't understand either. I was going to order The Great Escape, as I've seen it for $9.95 there many times b4, but a search is not pulling anything up except the warehouse price.

the cd-wow search engine is shockingly bad. theres are browsing options there on the side, to look through their catalogue, and thats the best way to check for certain.

Its extremely curious. You'd really think that they would want you to spend your money there and would facilitate that in any way possible. In this instance, by letting you see all the product available.

they probably run out of stock as many things drop from cd-wow. The sections and catalog options aren't good either as they are very limited as can be seen by the catalog.

I just took a look and sure enough, Black Adder for $66.95 under the TV/Documentary heading. Only one of the others that come up when you search is for sale there. None of them are under the simple Browse Catalogue section. Odd.
