New $4.88 display @ WM YMMV

Just went to WM and there was a display with the entire Clint Eastwood collection dvd's, except for Unforgiven,Josey Wales, and Pale rider. There were also alot of Elvis movies, and a few John Wayne films. Good luck.

Does anyone know anything about any Clint Eastwood movies being re-released soon? I know there is a new Dirty Harry Ultimate Box Set coming out later this year but what about some of the other titles?

I wrote down all the $4.88 ones at my Walmart. In no particular order:

Clint
----
Dirty Harry
Firefox
Bronco Billy
Kelly's Heroes
Dead Pool, The
Gauntlet, The
True Crime
Sudden Impact
Where Eagles Dare
Enforcer, The
Honkytonk Man
White Hunter, Black Heart
Perfect World, A
Rookie, The
City Heat
Tightrope
Any Which Way You Can
Pink Cadillac

John
----
McQ
Cahill US Marshall
Operation Pacific
Tall in the Saddle

Elvis
----
Double Trouble
Trouble with Girls
Harum Scarum
Speedway
That's the Way It Is
It Happened at the World's Fair
Viva Las Vegas
Spinout
Jailhouse Rock

Sadly I already had most of the Clint Eastwood ones, so there wasn't much to buy. Magnum Force is conspicuosly missing, but it didn't matter since I bought the Dirty Harry Collection when it first came out for about $55 back before I learned how the DVD price drop game is played.

Although I like Elvis, the only one of these movies I saw was Viva Las Vegas, and it was a bit too slow for me. I bought That's the Way It Is because I believe it's a concert performance. Are any of Elvis' other movies on this list a bit faster paced?

You're right. I missed that one while typing. Interestingly, there is an Elvis 6 DVD collection that's about $30-$35 and everything in that set is in this list. 6 DVDs * 4.88 is a little cheaper than buying that set.

I think those Eastwoods have been apart of previous 4.88 sales, a good deal regardless. The Clint Eastwood "Westener", "Hero", and a couple other box sets have been 18.86 at Sam's recently.

"Where Eagles Dare" in my WM doesn't have the "Clint Eastwood Collection" title. Does this one still the same transfer etc. as the one from the Collection?

Found them at a Wal-Mart here in San Diego, the one on Clairemont Mesa. Picked up the Dirty Harry sequels. They also finally got the previously posted display of Fox DVDs that are $3.88 with King of Comedy, Strange Days, The Great White Hype, and others.
