Which movie have you seen more times, Schindler's List or Jurassic Park?
These two movies were made in the same year by the same director. Critics made it very clear which one they liked better. But which one do people actually watch more?

JURASSIC PARK, but let's be clear here--SCHINDLER'S LIST is the faaar better piece of cinema; it's just that it takes such a substantial emotional toll on the average viewer that it's much harder to "gear one's self up for" time and time again than the popcorn thrills of JP.

Jurassic Park. I still haven't seen Schindler's List.
This post reminds me of a comment Penn of Penn & Teller made while hosting one of those Friday night schlock movie shows on TNT years ago. He said that although CHARIOTS OF FIRE was this high end film with lots of awards, PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE was probably seen and even enjoyed by more people.

I've seen both, but I've seen Jurassic Park more times. I'm sure most will pick that one. What a great year that was for Spielberg. Schindler's List wins him Best Picture and Director and Jurassic Park is a mega hit.

I saw Schindler's List once and will never see it again. Nothing in it makes me want to watch it over. I've seen Jurassic Park tons of times due to the action/effects/dinos. Now while I don't watch the whole JP all the time, I do watch if the dino scenes are on.

Jurassic Park it is and nowadays it's on TV all the time. I have Schindler's List, but I think I got it for the sake of having such an important film, and I have seen it once or twice.

I don't understand what the point of this poll is. Of course JP would be watched more often, it's far more of a crowdpleaser, even if Schindler is about a hundred times the better film IMHO. Most people watch movies, as someone here in this thread put it, for escapism. And that's all they want.

Schindler's List is overrated. It is a well done film but it gets elevated to God-like status in film circles ONLY because of its content. If you ask me, Spielberg's best movie is Jaws and he has yet to top it.

I'm with those who say Schindler's List is by far the better film (and it is not overrated) but not something people are going to watch over and over. In fact that's a no-brainer.
I have seen SL twice and may or may not watch it ever again.

I've seen Schindler's list twice, and I'll watch it again someday when I get myself emotionally geared-up to see it.
I watched Jurassic Park once, and I'll never watch it again if I can help it.

Jurassic park easily, Schindler's List is a movie you only really watch once or twice. Jurassic Park is a movie that still gets "holy crap" moments even though you say it a million times

Ha ha, Grundle, this is a very clever thread.
It all comes down to: which is more entertaining...
A. a powerful, moving, thought-provoking and heart-wrenching portrayal of the treatment of the Jews by the Nazis during the Second World War, with some remarkable performances.
B. Raaaaaar!
Well, put it this way. I'm a big kid and I've never seen Schindler's list. (Ignorance is bliss.)

I've seen Jurassic Park more often, as most everyone else has.
I think a big hinderance to Schindler's List is the running time. It's like what... 3 hours? I wouldn't say the movie is a downer, though. I think it's more inspiring than anything else.
