Hmmm, wonder if these are now "back in print"? There's been many a person had trouble finding these, then Overstock had them, now buy.com. WOnder if they've done a new run to ramp up for the Season 8 release. To buy or to wait until specials when S 8 is released?

the marge head is currently OOP.
NO vendors carry these marge heads anymore (or even have links for the item) except amazon- now up to $37.
overstock offered only 10 last week, they were unavailable there prior to those 10 units.
DDD dave said a couple weeks back during the 20% off sale the marge head is no longer available from the studio. they only had a few when the sale started and sold out.
they are now out of stock and unavailable from this buy.com thread, so they only had a few units.
say what you will, i would grab a marge head now if you see them.

here's my thoughts on the marge head (just a theory)...
season 6 (homer head) was released ONLY in that molded style. there's an offer inside the head to buy a "normal style" box that will work on the shelf with the previous seasons. that's why the homer heads are everywhere still, it's the only way you can purchase that sixth season.
season 7 however was not only released as a molded marge head, but you can also buy season 7 in the "normal style" box that matches earlier seasons, and they will offer both packaging styles for the season 8 maggie head.
i believe after the homer head release, the studio made the decision to limit the number of molded head versions manufactured (and sticker them "collectible") based on customer response to the homer head and how many people ordered those "normal style" boxes for season 6. this is why marge seems to be non-existant now.
might be a good idea to order the molded head versions when they first become available, i fear they will be the collectible version in the future (save for homer).
again, just a theory...

Is there a cut-off date to order the replacement Homer box? I want to pick it up, but dont' like the cheap plastic head boxes. And want to send away for the box.
