'shameless' has been one of channel 4s top shows in recent years, very very popular and critically-acclaimed comedy drama :

Ooh. I almost ordered Black Books a couple weeks ago when they were $9.95 each. Glad I waited!

Also:

Red Dwarf I, II, III, IV & VII: $14.95

I'm glad I didn't buy Peep Show on Sendit.com a couple of days ago like I was going to. I thought they were cheap there. Would've been paying almost twice as much.

I really wish I didn't want the 3rd disc in the Spaced Complete Series box set. Otherwise I'd be all over those too. Damn it.

Picked up Peep Show, considering picking up Shameless, will have to wait a week or so (ordered a bunch from cd wow already and DDD), hopefully the price stays the same.

Is the Best of Trigger Happy TV DVD any good? I've tried to find a complete season set, but I don't think it exists. For that price the Best Of might be worth buying.

should be able to find a complete box for 'trigger happy TV' - theres a reissue of it this summer, like most of the above sets and series :

I've seen that boxset, but it isn't all of the episodes, it's the best of discs for Seasons 1 and 2 and a special feature disc.

Where does they ship from? I am interested in getting a couple of DVDs, and I am thinking about making multiple orders so each one is under the customs limit for taxes. However, if it gets caught, I have to pay an additional $5 per order. I find I get hit more on items from overseas than the US, so I was just curious.

They also have both series of The Book Group for $9.95. I thoroughly enjoy Michelle Gomez on Green Wing (which they unfortunately have not lowered the price on) and wondered if anyone had any opinion on this show? Is it any good?

IMHO BB is better and I think it has a little more of a wider appeal (not that I don't love Spaced as well). The first "season" (how you can call 6 eps a season is beyond me but that's another thread ) is available in R1 so you might be able to find it as a rental somewhere (or it should be available via Blockbuster/Netflix if you do either of those) if you want to check it out first. Personally I bought the nice R2 box set as a blind buy and I wasn't disappointed.

I disagree. I thought it remained funny throughout the 3 seasons and wish they had made more. Now if you want something w/ a GREAT first season that went to complete drivel by the 3rd, check out Chef!

Take a look at my location.

But I think I give the first season a try. El Cheapo.

DOH! On the flip side it might be easier to find all 3 seasons available as rentals though

Great prices on the Black Books sets. Does anyone know if the upcoming boxset with all three seasons will have any extras not on the individual releases?

I think I answered my own question. The $7 DVDs look to be more recent releases that do not have all the extras of the earlier releases. Still, compared to Amazon.co.uk without VAT, you're still saving 18 bucks or so before shipping.

Was trying to figure out the same thing myself. I've read that the single discs have the same features as the box set. I'm not sure though. Its difficult to simply go by what the site (any site) has listed at times. Can anybody that owns them illuminate this for us?

Also, does no one have any opinion on The Book Group?

Fear not. I received Black Books 1 & 2 from CD-Wow (series 3 was on backorder but finally shipped on Monday), and all the extras (commentary, outtakes, etc.) are present.
