Vanessa Paradis in Noce Blanche

The info for the UK release of Noce Blanche has been floating around for over a month now but it seems like UK's Second Sight made it official this week. Street date August 28th.

Yes, though this one I do not own even on a VHS. One of Brisseau's* better films! If I had to use old cliches I would probably sum it up as an unconventional French coming of age story about a young (and very moody) girl. I would certainly place Noce Blanche right behind Girl on the Bridge on Vanessa's roster of films (and there are not that many).
