Any chance of X Files bonus features repackaged in slim cases by themselves?

I really want to take advantage of the Amazon X Files prices, and I really love the new slim case packaging but I also really want the bonus features too... has there been any word on if Fox has any plans to release the bonus features in the slim packages... or is the only route buying the older non-slim packages?

Just seeing if any one has heard anything either way

thanks

I think a more likely scenario would be a complete box set with all the old extras and possible more. Either way, nothing has been announced.

Anything is possible. But I'd be pretty shocked if something like this happened. I think they'd be breaking new ground here releasing just bonus features for a TV show. On the other hand, The X-Files was one of the first to take a chance on complete season sets.

It would turn out quite well since seasons 6-8 are complete. They'd only have to release the bonus features for seasons 1-5 & 9. They should easily be able to fit that on 6 discs to match the rest of the sets. I'd pick one up, but I just don't see it happening.

I could be wrong, but I think it was THE first.

Aren't the extra features for Season 9 spread onto two disks?
