The Crucible (1996) - Quick question

anyone know if this dvd is anamorphic or not? all the reviews and specs i see just list it as "widescreen" but it did come out within the last couple years so i'd be surprised if it wasn't

It is 100%, assuredly, most definitely, without question, anamorphic.

I used to know everything about every title before it happened; now over the last year or two, I've entirely missed THE CRUCIBLE's release (but I do finally now own it, whew!), MONEY TRAIN's artwork changing and a boatload of other Columbia titles with widescreen and full screen transfers get downgraded without packaging change (I managed to snatch all of these that I'm interested in, too, but it was a bitch, and I'll have to do it all over again if I ever see THE THIRTEENTH FLOOR and like it enough to buy) and, worst of all, the film 1984 going out of print, so a DVD I could have paid $10 for last year, I had to track down on eBay for $65! I don't why I'm slippin' 'cuz I'm here and at HTF every damn day...
