I'd have to say Van Damme. At least some of his DTV flicks have been getting decent reviews.

Van Damme had his moments but I never cared much for any of his movies except for Bloodsport. Steven Seagal has never made anything I cared for either aside from the two Under Siege movies and Executive Decision. Wesley Snipes was actually one of my favorite actors for a lot of years so it sucks to see him making these straight-to-DVD movies. Still I voted for Seagal because he just sucks.

Van Damme's recent ones are actually decent. Seagal's DTV's blow hard. I was actually a fan of his earlier movies, but I can't give him a pass on those turds. Haven't seen any of Snipe's stuff.

Wesley Snipes had the biggest fall of the three. Seagal and Van Damme's theatrical release days were numbered, as witnessed by Dolph Lundgren.
Apparently Van Damme's DTV movies have gotten some of his best reviews, and he's willing to work with stylish Hong Kong directors instead of generic DTV directors. Seagal has just gotten fat and lazy and seems to have a new DTV movie every month.

Van Damme went down the shitter because of alcohol and drug abuse. I thoroughly enjoyed Double Impact, Maximum Risk, Universal Soldier, and Timecop. Timecop was his best film and performance.
As for his DTV films, I probably enjoyed the Replicant the most. But I've only seen three of them. I'll pick Van Damme as least embarrasing.

I haven't a Seagal movie since Under Seige 2. Above the Law is still a great 80s B genre flick, Hard to Kill less so, but now...
I haven't seen a Van Varenberg movie since...The Quest. God that was awful.

I'd say Van Damme's is the least embarassing simply because there's not that huge of a difference between the quality of his straight to video stuff and his theatrical stuff. Essentially it's the same type of movie, just with less of a budget. Whereas Seagal was in more mainstream, big scale movies (Under Siege) when he was at top, and Snipes was a legitimate movie star in many genres and a generally well-respected actor.

He did his best acting in Wake of Death, but the movie itself wasn't very good IMO.

Like the poster above, I think Seagal is the worst, so I voted for him--my rationale being that when your theatrical career is that crappy, there's no difference with moving to direct-to-video, nothing more to be embarrased about.
Snipes seemed to have the furthest fall.

Jean-Claude. His films as of late have been pretty damme good. It's especially great to see how much he has grown as an actor over the years. Wake of Death and In Hell are a testament to this growth.

Why is Wesley Snipes a straight-to video actor now? I thought he was being very selective with cinema roles and mixing it up with smaller movies (including straight to video movies) and seemed to only appear in the Blade movies in the cinemas, which all did pretty well. Is he not offered cinema roles anymore??? I heard he's hard to work with, but his last films released in the cinema haven't flopped:
