Con Air/Crimson Tide/EOTS Unrated $10 @ Target

Target has an unadvertised sale on a bunch of titles including those in the thread title and a few others off the top of my head

Speed: 2 disc Awards edition
Mission Impossible

The POTC 2 free ticket is only a Best Buy exclusive at this point.

I saw it yesterday in store, it's not listed in the ad. They were on an endcap right near the cashiers marked at $10 for everything on the stand.

I was in Sat. and saw Speed SE in the $13.88 display. I would've picked it up on the spot if it was $10. Or did this sale start Sun.?

Danboy, I believe the sale just started Sunday. The sunday ad has a few $10 titles, but indicates that other assorted titles are on sale.

Lol, sure do, Dan. Brookhurst and Adams. One of the nicer ones in town. Look for Speed on the endcaps near the registers.

How is the "Speed: Awards Edition (2 DVDs)" different than "Speed: Five-Star Collection (2 DVDs)"?

Amazon and DVD Pricesearch only list the Five Star Collection, so I'd like to make sure that this Awards Edition is exactly the same in content.

Manzana, just compared the back of the Speed: Awards Edition I'm looking at now, to the review for the five star edition on dvdtalk and the content appears to be identical.

Heh! I ended up buying Speed for $10, Hellboy (2d SE) for $7.50 and just couldn't pass up the DC of Daredevil for $7.50 (with the cool slipcase) !!

Help, I'm addicted to bargains!!

Are my Targets the only ones that aren't having this sale?

One of my local Targets had them on a $13 rack. However, they scanned at $10.

You should try taking it to a price scanner (if you haven't already done so) -- it may, in fact, scan for $10.

I got the Speed 2-DVD edition at TGT for $9.99. They had plenty at the front, but unfortunately every single slipcase had at least a few dings or scratches in it so I took the best of the worst.

Had almost given up on this but found the display at the entrance to one of the registers. Thanks for the heads up.

Yup. I called several Targets about this deal and they said 'we don't carry those movies' (when I asked about crimson tide and EOTS).

So I went there anyways, and sure enough they're at the entrance to the registers.

Didn't think about looking @ registers when I was there earlier. Anyways, I only saw Crimson Tide UR with a sign in front of it showing the $10 price. Didn't see any of the others - EOTS, etc.

Almost bought Speed today, but couldn't think of a reason why I'd really want it.

Is the bonus stuff good?
