Might as well put that it is valid at all Barnes and Nobles B&M as well. And that it runs till July 6th.

There is a 15% off one item in-store coupon that runs until June 4, but I'm not sure if it will combine with this sale.

Did they just kill this sale? It was on a few minutes ago, but now the prices seem to be up.

I bet they just realized that these titles were also in the b2g1 deal. It's probably better, though, I was holding off 'til I got home so as not to use my CC number on the networked/monitored computers here at work. Now, I don't have to spend any money.

Time to pick up some Criterions. I think generally if there is more than one disc you get an additional 10% off the price along with the 10% off from having their Card.

Last year, there was a 10% off coupon floating around that could be used in conjunction with the B2G1 deal. I used it on a few Criterions since they were about equal to DDD's 20% off price (with their last year prices). It went something like this:

(MSRP-10%(coupon)-10%(multi-disc set))*3+6.5% tax = DDD's price on the same three items

Of course, with DDD raising their prices on Criterions after their sale in March, this might actually be a better deal if another coupon surfaces. I don't buy enough merch there during the year to make the $25 frequent buyer card worth it, as I buy don't really like paying MSRP for books and dvds.

At the one near me ALL DVD and CD prices are FULL LIST! I laughed out loud when I found the Hercules season sets at the OLD list of about $70 each! Sad part is I've actually seen people getting stuff there for those prices!

--Edit--

Wow! I just checked out some of the prices online! What a rip-off! Most of the ones I looked at have been available at less than half the current BN price in the last few months. Most are less than even the "sale" prices with the "free" selection at DDD WITHOUT A SALE! Even Amazon is cheeper overall!

I assume you can only do this deal once. You can't place an order for three, then place another order three and get another free...can you?

This can work out to a good deal if you stack an employee discount (5%), B&N card (10%) and get 3 DVD sets of equal value (33%). Star Trek TNG seasons work out to $37 or so apiece, and discover cashback would be good too. I just shouldn't spend over $100 on them all at once.

Darkessenz - You should have a Meijer nearby, right? They're selling Buffy S1-7 for $19.99 each, when buying in multiples of 2. See the thread HERE.

Back on topic, the B&N by me has almost all of their DVD's at full MSRP.

It's not too bad a deal if you have a B&N readers card. Criterions are 10% off, with another 10% off for people with the card, which means I got 3 Criterions (Rashomon, My Own Private Idaho, and M) for $21.59 each -- significantly less than DDD.

Huh, I didn't think it would be this soon. I might use this sale to get a couple Melville films.
