X-Men 4 - The search for mo' money
I've read that this would be the last installment of the X-Men series?
The box office $$ take is surprising even the the studio execs. What's to stop them from trying to cash in one more time?
You bunch of babies. If you didn't see it in the first weekend then you're not a true fan anyway.

I can just see it now, X-Men 4 will introduce a new mutant who has the power to resurect dead mutants. Let's just hope they don't have a craving for brains.

I haven't seen a lot of talk stating that X-men 3 would be the last movie. Are people just assuming it because of the title?
I was just reading one of my friend's EW Summer movie preview issue and the write up on Xmen: The Last Stand had this to say:
Looks certain that the 3rd one is definitely not the last.

And despite the finality of the title, there's always a chance these superheroes could battle evil in summers to come. "This is not the last movie," says Ralph Winter, a producer on all three X-Men films. "There are a lot more stories. There's a wealth of characters. We tried to fit Angel into three movies. This is the first time we ever got Angel in."

Hugh Jackman is going to go and make Wolverine, the solo movie. Once that's finished, he's going to start work on X4: Generation neXt, with a hip cast including Ciara as Jubilee and Bow Wow as Quicksilver. Wolverine will act as a mentor to the new students who are fresh out of the streets. Then, through the power of dance and other mutant powers, they will reach their bright potential and defeat the evil but young and attractive villain!

I just don't get why you would name it the Last Stand and try to bring finality to the series when you KNOW everyone loves this franchise and will want to see more. It's not like X-Men doesn't have enough characters for more than three films. Hell, we still haven't even seen Gambit yet.
