Superbits-- Price drop??

Question about the Superbits. Was/Is there a price drop on them at any point? There is a store here in NYC where they are all $12-16, regular price.
With the sale that Best Buy had in mind and seeing this, I was just wondering what the deal is.

Best Buy started blowing them out about 6 months ago. I think thier prices are at about $9.99.

BTW, this should be in the Bargains Section... Plus I think a thread might already exist there, even though it's quite old.

well, $10 at BB regularly is the best price i've seen for them at retail. other places are still around $20, so i'm guessing BB's on their own with the prices.

Those prices are no longer in effect at Best Buy.

This shouldn't be in the Bargain section because i'm not advertising anything.

I'm asking a question.

At my local store, the Best Buy prices are still in effect.

I'm looking for clarification ... why would a price drop be a bargain? I thought the "bargains" section was for special sales and deals which were limited in time. A price drop is a permanent change in the price, I didn't think that was what "bargains" was for.

For some reason they'r enot 9.99 on the website, but every BB I've been to still has them at 9.99.

My guess is the store in NYC bought them locally from Best Buy for resale at an inflated price.

ALL? I was never able to find a Best Buy that carried the Charlie's Angels dual-pack nor The Who's Tommy. I had to purchase both online during a VERY brief window when those titles were also on sale for $9.99.

$9.99 price is still in effect in the stores. They are even tagged that way.
