How bad does Monster House look?

This movie wouldn't even look good if it was live action. Whatcha think?

I think it looks great. It has some very decent style, great animation and looks like it should be a very fun romp. Zemeckis and Spielberg wouldn't steer us wrong on this one...the first trailer admitted wasn't great, but the second one sold me on it.

I'm still gonna see the film in 3D whether it's bad or not.

The only bad is that it's in the wrong spot.. I think it should switch release dates with Open Season.

It looks fantastic.

It also looks like you are in the minority on this one

The movie looks good, the story is good, and the characters are good...one flaw in the story that really sticks out...so much so that even my 10 year old brought it up...
Spoiler:
they spend the last 5-10 minutes of the movie with a big action sequence revolving around the kids needing to and trying to light dynamite with a match....once they have it lit they need to throw the dynamite into a fire?!? Why light the fuse...just throw it in the fire...I was thinking it the whole time...turns out my kids were thinking it too.

That was very likely intentional, they're kids afterall. That said, you have a bright kid . That does sound shockingly stupid of the kids though.

Yeah, I thought it looked pretty good. Much better than the other recent animated crap, all involving animals.

This looks great to me. It looks like it has some great black humor that is sorely lacking in most of those "family friendly" CGI films involving animals. I'm glad that I didn't see any joke involving a belching squirrel.

that scene looks stuuupid. total pandering to the kids and a laugh... (it just made me roll my eyes in my head).
