Any interest in Frantic 16x9?

Has this movie been completely forgotten? Or have Roman Polanski's troubled ruined any chance of it being re-released?

Am I interested in a 16:9 FRANTIC? No.

Am I interested in fans of FRANTIC having access to a 16:9 version? Hell, yes.

Now, about FEARLESS...

I'd buy it. Underrated film.

I have the UK version. The R1 fullscreen version is actually pan and scan and not open matte. I compared the one i had to the one i got later. I wish they'd remaster it in ntsc because I don't like pal speedup. Private Benjamin is in this same category. I have the R4 version of it. Great transfer, but sped up. Time for a ws R1 of that, too.

I've been waiting for 16x9 releases of both Frantic and Fearless since I started buying dvds. I refuse to buy the crappy versions out now. Now where the hell are the re-releases warner?
As much as I remember about the Warner HTF chat this year, was that neither of these were on the release plate, so I am not getting my hopes up for anything this year. Maybe someday...next year?

I've been hoping Warner would release an anamorphic "Frantic" for years. And while they're at it, how about "Running on Empty"?

In case anyone is interested, this is being shown in HD on Cinemax this month. I'll definitely have to record it in 16x9.

Also like a widescreen Innocent Blood and Postman Always Rings Twice (remake) from Warner. They seem to have quite a few P&S only catalog titles.

Frantic and Innocent Blood 16 x 9 would be welcome additions to the collection.
