Bone Thug-N-Harmony sign with a label. New album later this year.
Bone Thug-N-Harmony has signed a record deal with Interscope through producer Swizz Beatz' label Full Surface.
The Cleveland-based group is currently working on a new album due for release later this year. Producers on the forthcoming disc include Swizz Beats, Kanye West, Lil’ Jon, Three 6 Mafia, Big Boi of Outkast, and Dr. Dre.
Original Bone members Flesh-N-Bone (currently serving an 11-year prison sentence on gun charges), Layzie Bone, Krayzie Bone and Wish Bone will appear on the album. Bizzy Bone, however, is no longer in the group.

Interesting to see Three 6 Mafia co-producing the album. I remember back in '96 or '97 when they were feuding because Three 6 Mafia were claiming that Bone Thugs copied their style. Anyway, still looking forward to this. E 1999 Eternal is still one of my favorite rap albums to date.

Not that I am a fan or anything, but I don't expect much of a comeback.

I'm not surprised to hear this. They've been kind of bubbling under the surface for a little while now. With Krayzie's appearance on the Chamillionaire song, now's a good time for a comeback.

E 1999 Eternal was one of my favorite rap albums several years ago. They dropped off my radar quickly after that, though. I'm not exceptionally excited about this, but I'll see what the tracks sound like.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony prepare new album
With over forty-million sold in a career over a decade long, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony still want to add to their sales tally on September 19th when they release their new album through Koch Records.
Although the group are originally a quintet this album will see the high-speed rappers record as a trio for the first time due to the absence of two long-time members.
Bizzy Bone parted ways from the group in 2003 after a publicised falling out with other members over his battle with alcohol and his failure to meet tour, performance and promotion responsibilities.
Meanwhile, Flesh-N-Bone (brother of Layzie Bone) has been serving an eleven year sentence since 2000 in Pleasant Valley State Prison, California after being convicted on gun charges.
This leaves Krayzie Bone, Wish Bone and Layzie Bone to resurrect the group who were a massive success after signing to Eazy-E’s Ruthless Records in the early nineties.
"I can't tell you how excited I am to be working again with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony," said Alan Grunblatt, the man in charge of marketing and promotion for the multi-platinum records Creepin On Ah Come Up and E. 1999 Eternal, who is now the current General Manger of Koch Records.
"My relationship with the group has been a long and successful one," Grunblatt said. "I simply love this new album. It is full of the melodic hood anthems the group is famous for and should return them to the top of the charts."
The first single, 'Fire', will be release to radio stations by the end of the month.
Swizz Beats will produce a second Bone Thugs-N-Harmony album of 2006, slated for release through Interscope Records sometime this year.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Krayzie's group since the early '90s, have two new albums on the horizon, beginning with September 19's Thug Stories.
That album, the follow-up to 2002's Thug World Order, marks the group's first release as a trio, since Bizzy Bone is no longer in the group (see "Bizzy Bone Says He's Not Crazy, He's Just Found The Lord"), leaving Krayzie, Layzie Bone and Wish Bone (Flesh-N-Bone is serving a 10-year sentence for armed assault.) The first single is the just-released "Don't Stop."
While Thug Stories is a somewhat low-key affair, the second new Bone Thugs album, expected in late 2006, is being overseen by Swizz Beatz (who brought the group to Interscope Records) and will feature a bevy of big names.
"We got Dr. Dre, we got Three 6 Mafia, we got Kanye West, we got a lot of people on the album," Krayzie said. "We got Mariah Carey. She promised that she was gonna do a song with us once, and she kept her promise."
Akon and Ice Cube also show up on the album, which has yet to be titled, and verses Flesh-N-Bone recorded behind bars may also appear.
