How many TV shows do you try to follow?

Early this season, I tried to follow 36 shows and it was damn near impossible. Right now, I have 31 on my list, but with Alias ending, I'm down to 30, not counting new pilots next season. I've had 5-6 hour marathons on some weekends when my DVR gets really backed up.

I usually only watch a few shows each season. It used to be around 10-15, but I don't have the time anymore for more than 1-5.

Hmm....

24
Lost
The Office
The Amazing Race
Scrubs
Arrested Development (RIP)
The Simpsons
Family Guy

Guess that's about it. Most of the rest of what I watch is sports.

Edit: forgot Rescue Me (hasn't been on in so long) and downloaded BBC shows Doctor Who and Top Gear.

just Lost and Scrubs - the rest of my tv time is watching videos from Netflix, Nicheflix, NYMmedia, and my own personal video collection.

Been trying to read more - hah! that ain't happening.

Yeah you are missing the option for me also.

I have 3 Tivo's and one R-15. On one of my Tivo's I have 98 season passes. On another I have about 48 just for shows not on local channels.

I think I should count. My list is:

1) Gilmore Girls
2) Veronica Mars
3) Smallville
4) Everybody Hates Chris
5) My Name Is Earl
6) The Office
7) Scrubs
8) The Unit
9) LOST
10) King of the Hill
11) The Shield
12) Nip/Tuck
13) The Soup
14) SNL

Those are the shows that will continue.

The shows that are ending:
15) Everwood
16) Conviction
17) Thief
18) Arrested Development

Shows I'll be trying to pick up next year:
15) 30 Rock
16) Studio 60...
17) Heroes

That's it so far, but I'll probably add more later.

Yep, I was right about where I'd fall. High teens.

between 15 and 20. But several of them are HBO shows that are really spread out. Plus a show like Southpark that splits up their shows over two mini season.

Low twenties.

It really isn't as bad as some people might think though. When you consider that the HBO shows, FX shows, and South Park have non-standard schedules, there usually aren't more than maybe 12-15 going during a given week.

Well, my Tivo has about 70 Season Passes. Thankfully not all of them are in season at the same time. But I think it is somewhere like 30-35 at any given time.

This season I was down to around 11 shows. Plus 2 other summer shows that I follow.

1. West Wing (ending this season)
2. Desperate Housewifes
3. Grey's Anatomy
4. Gilmore Girls
5. Alias (ending this season)
6. Lost
7. ER
8. Mythbusters
9. Hustle (AMC aired series 1 & 2 of this BBC show, not sure when series 3 will air)
10. Monk
11. Arrested Development (RIP )

1. The Closer
2. The 4400

I know I've been at about 20 shows in 1997 (with Buffy, X-Files, Xena, Homicide, NYPD Blue, ER, Seinfeld, Friends, Newsradio, Mad About You, Frasier, Ellen, Ally McBeal, The Practice, Star Trek Voyager, Cybill, Early Edition, The Pretender, The Simpsons and more)

EDIT: Forgot Arrested Development.
