Any opinions on NEC Vt-660 projector?
A friend of a friend is selling a NEC VT-660. The price isn't bad but i can't find much on reviews for it. If anyone has any info or opinions on it i would appreciate it. This would be my first projector but i don't want to spend the time and the money on something that sucks. Thanks.

I found some reviews over at projector central and they're all positive, but they are also probably very old reviews and possibly from projector newbies. How much is he trying to sell it to you for?
The contrast ratio is crap so I hope it's between $100-$200 (assuming it has low lamp hours) and that you plan to scrap it when the lamp blows. It's definitely not worth paying $300+ for a replacement lamp.
There are much better projectors out there. It really depends on your budget. Great quality can be had much cheaper nowadays.
