People Magazine Coupon Alert!!!! 5/15/06 Issue - Act Fast!

Please note that this issue of People Magazine (which sports Heather Locklear on the cover) has not 1 but 2 manufacturer DVD coupons!

Both coupons are on page 171 and here are the details:

Coupon #1:

Save $3 Instantly when you buy The New World on DVD

Coupon #2:

Save $2 Instantly when you buy any of the following DVDs:
  • The Notebook
  • Monster In Law
  • The Wedding Singer: Totally Awesome Edition

Both coupons expire 6/30/06 and being that they are manufacturer coupons means that they can be used anywhere where these DVDs are sold.

I plan to use the $3 on the Best Buy New World DVD with exclusive cover art......

Enjoy!

I was looking to pick up The Wedding Singer Re-release and this should save me a few bucks since my wife already subscribes, thanks.

Thanks, speedy. Although I'm not in the market for any of those DVD's, they are good deals.

Well the $3 off The New World just pushed me over the fence on that title so as I stated above (more or less): Best Buy here I come!

Back to writing your competitor's deals which should be up in about 30 minutes.

Me too. I Love Malick! But since the dvd is so bare bones, I'm thinking of just renting it from Netflix for now and pick it up later when it gets a price drop. Decisions, decisions...

FYI This weeks In Touch magazine (cheaper than People, it is 1.99) has the same coupons. Good deal!

INTERNET PRINTABLE $3 COUPON: THE NEW WORLD & 3 OTHERS

I found the $3 coupon for "The New World" online. This is the same $3 coupon that is in People magazine. Here's how to get it:

Go to:
www.thenewworldmovie.com

click on the dvd link, or: http://www.newlinedvd.com/

click on the link "Download coupon" or http://www.newlinedvd.com/images/coupon_NewWorld.pdf

I had problems at first getting the coupon to open. I closed Adobe then reopened it and the coupon was there, picture perfect. Now you don't have to spend $3 buying that rag People Magazine (unless you care and want to read how Britney got pregnant again)

The $2 coupon for the other 3 movies is also there.

Finally, I haven't tried it yet, but CircuitCity has The New World for $16.99, it's $17.99 at BestBuy with a special dvd cover (better looking if you ask me). The thumbnail pictures in the BestBuy and CircuitCity flyers are different, but I'm hoping whatever customer service-droid I get at BestBuy will gimme the price match so I can get the version with the cool cover. All in all, that could be $4 off. Good luck.

If someone knows how to list this as a new thread (and it's appropriate), please feel free. It might get a little more attention since you don't have to lay down any dollars buying "People" to get the coupon.
