Worth noting in that it will contain the 1959 Fred MacMurray version as a bonus! More details tomorrow...

Disney Home Video has announced The Shaggy Dog which stars Tim Allen and Kristin Davis. This family comedy will be available to own from the 1st August, and should retail at around $29.99. The disc will carry both anamorphic widescreen and 1.33:1 full screen transfers, along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround tracks. Extras will include deleted scenes, bloopers and outtake goof-ups from the set, and a director/producer audio commentary. We'll bring you the official package artwork very shortly. Stay tuned.

Thanks for the bump....

Looks like they backed out of including the original version. I'd seen early version art which included it. Oh, well.....

I would have liked that both versions be included. i was going to show them back to back to my little cousins, so they can see that the original version is much better. Maybe Costco will have a 2-pack that will include both versions at a decent price.
