"Birth of a Nation" On TCM 5/02
While I know Birth of a Nation is a controversial film but from what I've heard and read it is a significant piece in film history. My first time of ever hearing about it was on this forum a few months ago. After looking it up, it somewhat intrigues me. So if anyone else cares, it is on TCM tonite(Tues May2) at 8pm.

Yeah, I was thinking about posting this. Jazz Singer ('27)) also comes on later tonight. It's funny, 2 of the most important movies in cinema history are also 2 of the most despised!
I don't think I've seen this extended version of BOAN yet. I'll give most of it a look (Flippin' back & forth between the playoffs)

I forgot about BOAN until about an hour in, I DVR'd the rest, watched some and it was pretty fascinating. Any idea on a re-broadcast?
