Attention Dimebag/Pantera Fans (Rebel Meets Rebel)
I'm a little bummed that this isn't getting more buzz than it is. Tomorrow the long-awaited Rebel Meets Rebel album hits stores. This is Dimebag, Vinny and Rex from Pantera teaming up with country singer David Allen Coe. It likely represents the last studio recordings of Dimebag and I think all Pantera fans owe it to themselves to at least check it out.
There are some samples on their MySpace page.

I heard them on Sirius several times the last couple months. I was like these guys are great . Then one time there was a bumper some thing to the effect "this is Vinnie Paul of Pantera, Damage Plan and Rebel Meets Rebel and you are listening to Octane" I was like Holy Shit?! I had no idea about the connection. I'm definately getting this. \m/

My boyfriend has been a hardcore Dimebag fan for a long time (and I respect the hell out of him and his talent, seeing the Pantera home videos is a little heartbreaking when you see a guy that loved life so much.) and I'm definitely going to be hearing that and the new Tool non-stop in his car. I can't wait to hear it though, the mix of genres sounds cool.

It's worth the 9.99 I spent for it at Best Buy
Coe doesn't really have a metal voice but it's a fun get rowdy drinking album
Worth the price of admission for
Cherokee Cry
&
Get Outta My Life (guest vocal Hank III)
all in all
Recomended
