DIRECTV customers, possible free month of service!
Log into your account on line, and select the option to change your programming package. Option "A" should give you the option to get one month of TC Premier at half off, and Option "C" should give you the option to get one month of TC Plus for free!
I don't know if the offer is valid if you've already got TC Plus or Premier, and I don't think it extends your commitment any. I was able to successfully add the TC Plus free to my account not that long ago. Others I know were able to successfully add it today as well.

I'm not getting the TC Plus "deal", but I currently have TC Plus.
I pretended to want the Premier deal. There were two choices, one with the $50 discount for the first month on the $99.99 price. Whether I choose the one with the discount, or the other, I get this at the confirm page (emphasis mine):
I don't see anywhere on the site where to confirm whether I am currently in or out of a commitment. Have you called to see what your current commitment is after the change?

I have total choice now and I have the offer for free. I wonder if I can switch back after the month. What does plus add to total choice?
