"Luxury Lounge"

Artie's business is jeopardized by a rival restaurant and staff scandal; Christopher and Little Carmine pursue a new venture out of town.

should be a good one, i've always loved Christopher's forays into the film industry. Plus, Ben Kingsley guest stars!

This week's EW [with Tom Hanks on the cover] has an article by Margeaux Watson talking about the near-two-year hiatus affecting the Sopranos.

And while she doesn't come out and say it, the mandatory "not enough action (read: wacking)" excuse is there.

3. GIVE US SOME ACTION Wow, Tony taking a bullet from Uncle Junior? No one saw that coming. Two episodes with Tony in a coma, comfined to a hospital bed? Seems like most folks wish they hadn't seen that. Here's hoping that with the big man back on his feet (and Vito on the run in New Hampshire) things will turn around.
Sure Margeaux, whatever you say.

Only this show could talk Lauren Bacall into a scene where she is punched in the face.

Not a bad episode, but it followed that standard "guy gets into a rut/has a major conflict/rediscovers his first love" plot.

The Christopher/Ben Kingsley scenes were great.

Where.Was.Vito?????

Although, I only noticed 40 mins in that they hadn't done anything with his current storyline, so it did have my attention none-the-less. And I liked the whole conflict with the restuarant owner (I dont know his name), and I like his character as well.

OH, and Law & Order: SUV had me

Are you just noticing this now about the show? Throughout the entire series this is what they do.

Excellent episode. Loved the drama with Arti and Benny. Lots of great comedy this week with Christopher in Hollywood.

It looks like they're focusing on certain characters for individual episodes this season for the main storylines.

Last week: Vito
This week: Arti
Next week: AJ

also, anyone notice that this is the first mention of christophers movie since 3 episodes ago. also, david chase has said on record that he doesn't like the whole television arc, and prefers stand alone episodes.
apparenlty according to aicn
Spoiler:
there is a violent rape between Vito and Finn apparently in the next episode.

Did anyone else hear before this season started that Fergie of the band Black Eyed Peas was supposed to play an undercover stripper at the Bing? Wonder where she is...

How about using spoiler bars for those of us who don't watch previews? I know it's only been requested about a zillion times.

The show has always had strong humorous elements, but this seems to be a straight-up comedy now. Chris was funny as he harassed Ben Kingsley, and Kingsley was great as he tried to remain polite. And then on the plane, "Fock!"
Lauren Bacall is one feisty old broad, I have no doubt that's how she would react if mugged.

Bennie must be a pussy, he can't even take Artie?

I'm not sure I got the significance of the two "tailors" from Italy showing each other what they bought.

Yeah mentioning the character focus for next week's episode is a major plot spoiler.... *yawn*

Doesn't matter if it's the character focus or his fucking hat size, it's still spoiling something for the next episode that some of us try to avoid and expect posters who mention it to use spoiler bars out of courtesy. Must this be mentioned again and again?

Bennie had the better stand up skills but Artie had the better "ground and pound" technique if I may use MMA terminology.

Loved the scene at the end where Artie is cooking the rabbit and leafing through the old cookbook (his dad's I presume?). There was this smile on his face, a certain peace that showed his true passion for his job
