Any deals on new car tires?

I live in Virginia and looking to get new tires for my car to pass inspection. Any deals out there or coupons available?

would depend on where you are at in VA and what kind of tire you want.

if you want cheap-as-hell just to pass inspection tires, go to pep boys and cash in on their 4 tires for $100 deal.

If you want better tires than that, go to walmart and buy their version of the Goodyear tire.

If you want more variety, get a price from a place like www.tirerack.com or www.vulcantire.com and make Sears price match it.

There are lots of options, you need to be more specific about car and tire and location.

No, I am not affiliated with them at all. I ordered tires from them though 3 weeks ago.

You should check out costco, they have some great deals on Tires. Or if you want to go real cheap you can drive your car up to one of those Ghetto neighborhoods and get yourself some used tires for $10 each.

hehehe.

Shopping myself right now. My alignment was apparently off, and my oil shop guys say the front two are about to go but the rear two are fine, have about 30k on them.

I imagine I should just get 4 new ones, but what do you guys think?

I'm leaning towards some 60k Michelins at Costco, about $115 each after rebate. A little cheaper at some discount places, but Costco has free lifetime balancing, rotation, flat repair, and road hazard policy.

depends on how much life are on the rear two...if they've still got another 30k, then you can do the front only, assuming you don't have awd. just figure out the price difference between 2 vs 4, and see if it's worth it to you.
