What movie is this?
The trailer was this: The boyfriend traces his gf's steps in a bad neighborhood to find out what happened to her. It's not Havoc, I rented that by mistake.

It sounds like "Brick" with Joseph Gordon Levitt (I think that is his full name). He was in Havoc, Angels In the Outfield, Third Rock From the Sun, 10 Things I hate About You, etc...
