So, what would happen if the show happened on "Daylight Savings Time"

-Clock forward and they lose an hour
-Clock back and we get 25 shows, now that would be a little cool

I count each hour as an episode, so on May 22 they're showing two episodes back-to-back.

I wonder what the shocker will be tonight - who is really running the show? Who is manipulating President Logan? How much did Mrs. Logan know?

Oh Ohh. President Palmer is mad!

From TVfodder.com

24: Dennis Haysbert Not Happy with Day 5

Everyone knows at this point -- and the 24 people love to remind us -- that in the 24-verse, no one is safe. Not even former president David Palmer, who was killed in the opening minutes of this season.

With all that he's given to the show, it's not surprising that Dennis Haysbert would be slightly upset about his character's demise, but he has some harsh words for the way the season has played out, says the Chicago Tribune.

Speaking of "24's" presidential types, the actor who played president David Palmer on the show, Dennis Haysbert, said in a recent interview that he’s unhappy with all the "carnage" this season on "24," which killed off many regular characters, including his.
"You have to constantly stunt to get people to watch, because every relationship that Jack has had, from Season 1, all those people are gone," said Haysbert, who added that he "just didn’t think it was right" to kill his character at the start of the current season. Removing so many characters, Haysbert says, creates "this man against the world thing, and it becomes a bit cartoonish, not plausible."

"At every turn, for better or for worse, the producers sought to destroy these relationships [that Bauer had], and consequently turn the show into something that it didn’t start out being. … I think it makes for a weaker show," Haysbert says.

"I'm frustrated for them,” Haysbert says of his former "24" colleagues. "I look at it and I go, 'My God, how many more people can you kill?'"

He's definitely got a point there, similar to my shock for the sake of shock gripe.

I want to give Haysbert the benefit of the doubt and think that's he's not bitter about his character getting killed (especially with the crappy storylines that he had toward the end of the his run), but I'm not quite sure what to make of it.

He's right about 24 being a relationship show. During the first season, it wasn't just Jack against the world ... it dealt a lot with family issues, whether it was the Bauers, Palmers or even the Drazens, and relationship issues at work. But now (especially with the evil Logan reveal) it's Jack vs. the world nearly all the time, with the exception of the Kim and Audrey episodes. -- Jason Unger

I think the problem with having all the regulars from past seasons killed off is that it's causing me to become detached from the new characters. It's hard for me to really care whether or not any of them make it out of a current situation alive since I know they're going to be killed at some point.

Aside from Jack, the only characters I'm vested in are Aaron Pierce and Mike Novick.

I think the audience has gown attatchments to newer characters as well. Look at how people handled Edger's death. He'd only been there since Day 4 and people liked him enough that they were sad when he died. I'd say Cloe, Curtis and Bill are liked enough that they care what happens to them.

Enjoyed this hour, this show just compels you to keep watching hour after hour.

Poor bank manager, he deserved better.

Flotus making out with the Potus was getting a little heated there.

Loved the final line about taking down the president.

What was more inprobable, Jack finding a way out of that bank alive or bank guy dying on the way out? I would say its a push.

Hard to believe this is the same season that had Jack risking his neck for some trailer park punk kid.

Some good action but I felt that this was a filler.

Can't wait for Heller to meet Audrey.

Anyone else notice the new background music? It had a real James Bond sound to it. And, I was really hoping that Chloe was going to tell that jerk she was taking a piss, standing up.

Too bad for Evelyn, her daughter, the paramedics, the bank manager and a bunch of police that the show isn't based in Detroit.

The music sounded like it was straight outta bond, or the n64 Goldeneye game or something. Very entertaining hour...knew the Bank Manager signed his own death certificate when he opted to go with Jack. Next week looks pretty awesome.

So based on everything Logan said this episode, his plan was the same as Walt Cummings' all along. It's gonna be interesting to go back and rewatch this season to see if any of this fits.

Next week looks fun.
Spoiler:
Heller vs. Logan and it looks like Bill Buchanan isn't quite out of it yet.
