Evil Aliens - stateside release??
This sounds like another UK cult film in the making - in the vein and wit of 'Shaun of the Dead' - although with aliens and copious amounts of grue and gore. I thought I read somewhere that this slated for a US release - when?

it's currently playing at the philly filmfest. i might have a chance to catch it tomorrow at its last showing, if i'm correct. by the write up, it sounds decent, but then again; all the danger after dark films do. based on their reviews i saw oldboy last year, and a tale of two sisters, and dragon head the year before. only dragon head was a bit of a bust. so i have good faith in the guy who handles the danger after dark. and his write up but it right there with evil dead 2 and dead alive.
most likely it will never get a proper US release to theaters. but i would bet my bottom dollar it will get a dvd release here. probably tartan, media blasters, or lionsgate i would suspect.
if i do get to see it, i'll post back with my thoughts. please god let it don't be an "undead."

if i had the film fest booklet with me, i think they give the url to each movies site. alas... maybe tomorrow if i can get a hold of it (assuming it has a site, which would have it's trailer) i'll post it.
but i posted this, becuase i think i was confused earlier. i think tomorrow Evil plays. Evil is a greek zombie movie, the guide states as being the first. since i am confused, the evil dead/dead alive mention might of been stated about this movie and not Evil Alien. however, from what i recall they both sounded like good; semi-to-no-budget, gore,horror,comedy. both were on my list to see. however, which out my booklet, i can't truely be of much help, esp. now with my confusion. however, i hopefully can clear a bit up tomorrow around 2:30 when i should get my booklet back.
